I had a fantastic time spending a night in this lovely hotel. It’s located not far from the Cathedral.

4/10
The location is great, but the management was totally shambolic. We stayed for three days and couldn’t get into our room on the second day because they thought we’d left. We arrived two hours later than we’d said, checked in, and found the room still dirty from the previous guests. The bed hadn’t been made and the towels were wet. The cleaner seemed either overworked or late to start.

It was noisy, and the breakfast service was below average. Apparently, guests aren’t allowed to take a few things from the shelf on the breakfast table, though nothing is marked to explain that. If you take something without knowing, they put up a label saying you’ve been filmed, as if you stole it. It doesn’t get much worse than that.

The building didn’t seem safe. It was dirty throughout, there was no heating, and the rooms smelled bad.

Noise was the main issue for me. I could hear people in the rooms next door, as well as the traffic out front.
