The owner came through for us when our car broke down, and his help turned a stressful problem into a really positive travel memory. We’re very grateful, and would recommend this friendly, quiet hotel. We stayed for two nights and didn’t get time to explore all the facilities, though we did enjoy the beautiful garden. There’s a large heated pool and spacious, secure private parking. The hotel is a short walk from the old village and close to the magic ocra nature.

The fresh, typically French breakfasts were nice, and we enjoyed the garden and pool. Some extra shade from parasols would have helped. Our room was very hot even with the air conditioning on, and the bathroom layout was odd: the separate toilet had no hand basin, so we had to touch other surfaces before washing our hands in the shower room. There’s room for a small basin in the toilet area, which would make this more hygienic. The room was pleasant enough for a short stay, but I’m not sure we’d return.

We got to relax by the pool after arriving in the afternoon, and the front desk woman quickly found us a dinner reservation. That was especially useful on a Tuesday, when lots of restaurants are closed. The room was nice, the bed was good, and breakfast was very good. It’s a quick walk to Roussillon. A lovely spot, and I’d recommend staying here.

It’s a quiet area, about a 10 minute walk to the heart of Roussillon. The rooms are large, with a fridge and a huge shower fitted with a rain showerhead. The pool is awesome, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing place, highly recommend.

Our stay at Les Sables D’Ocre Hotel was deeply disappointing because of the customer service. We were given a different room from the one in our booking, and when we raised our concerns, staff showed no interest in helping. They said they would charge our card regardless, with no flexibility at all. From arrival, there was no warm welcome, and they seemed uninterested in our questions or concerns. The whole experience felt like they were offering the bare minimum.
