Résidence Les Dômes

In 2026, this place is a disgrace. The mattresses must be 20 years old, and the bedding is old and filthy. They don't clean, not even once a month, and in summer there's no fan or air conditioning. The sheets don't get changed either, and the kitchen pipes are clogged. Believe me, there are much better hotels at the same price. I know because I was there for work for more than a month. The person in charge says you have to pay 30€ if you don't leave the room clean. Imagine paying for a hotel and still having to clean it. Look for somewhere else.

The price is affordable, street parking is free, and the Wi-Fi works really well. The kitchen is better equipped than the website suggests, though some things need replacing, like the pans, oven dishes, and a few appliances. There's also an iron and a hairdryer. The mattress was the worst part. The first night was awful, and asking for another one didn't help, it sagged just as badly. For 20 days, we kept shifting to the edge to find a firmer spot. Street-facing rooms are very noisy with passing cars. It's easy to reach but feels isolated, with no bars or supermarkets nearby and the nearest bakery 400 meters away. There's no extractor fan, so even a little cooking fills the room with smoke and smells, including the neighbors' cooking coming into our room. There's only one window. In general, things could be cleaner or newer, like the broom, mop, and refrigerator.

It's always a pleasure to stay here. The studios have good equipment, and it's a five-minute walk to the thermal baths. The welcome is always friendly, and the surrounding nature is magnificent, especially Bourgoin Park and Tiretaine Park with its streams and waterfalls.

I've been coming for spa treatments for three years and staying at Les Domes. It's quiet, the welcome is friendly, and my studio is great and practical. I'll be back next year.
