Comfort Hotel Rungis Orly

The hotel has seen better days, though the people at the Comfort Inn were extremely nice and helpful. A young man carried my wife's bags up to the third floor. The free shuttle is very close, so getting to the airport is convenient. We also had very nice food at the Capitole restaurant around the corner.

Mathis at reception was kind and really helpful while I was there. I had a very good experience and would recommend it.

The staff were very good, and it's a very good airport-side option if you're heading into Paris.

The room was in poor shape, old and neglected, with paintwork and repairs badly needed. Pink mold in the shower put us off bathing, and there were no towels. I had to ask for toilet paper. We were given food vouchers for two meals, and the food was pretty good considering the accommodation. I put a chair behind the door, slept in my clothes, and couldn't wait to leave in the morning. Our flight from Orly to Florence, Italy was cancelled at the last minute, and no other scheduled flight was available until the next morning. The airline gave us a voucher for this hotel, in an industrial area 10 minutes from the airport. A bus brought us part of the way, then we had a considerable walk with our luggage. No one helped us carry it to our room at the back of the hotel. The only person who spoke clear English was a young woman who did her best to help, but she left at 5 o'clock. The others either didn't speak English or spoke just enough to get by. Airlines should be ashamed of putting guests up in places like this, and should make sure they are repaired and clean if they plan to use them. I wouldn't recommend it, especially to a woman travelling alone in a foreign country.
