The house has a superb location, with a lovely Ardèche landscape view from the furnished terrace, which has lighting and a power outlet. The pool area also had good sun loungers and parasols. On the second terrace, the outdoor kitchen had an extra gas BBQ, so we could cook outside despite the fire ban due to fire risk. We were welcomed very warmly by the owners, and really enjoyed this beautiful spot. Nearby are charming towns with shops, markets and sights, as well as quiet places along the Ardèche where, even in high season, you may not meet anyone. We did have a lot of mosquitoes and biting flies. Buying mosquito nets at Decathlon in Aubenas worked well, along with “cinq cinq” mosquito spray for the terrace. Highly recommended!
