I went to Marcon, a 3 stars restaurant, and had to book at the last minute, so it was the only one available. It turned out to be an excellent surprise. The room was nice and very reasonably priced, with a door opening onto the outdoor grounds. Good breakfast, local wines, and a really nice location.

The location is nice, and the rooms are clean and big enough. Dinner was well cooked, too. But how can you work in hospitality and not be more polite and nicer to your clients????

It's a wonderful inn where you feel right at home, just 5 minutes from the center of St. Bonnet le Froid. Set in lush greenery with a magnificent view, it's quiet and restful, a lovely place to recharge and completely escape. Our room was spacious, clean, peaceful, and had a small terrace. There was no noise at all. We had dinner there, and what a lovely surprise: the owner cooks and bakes, and everything was delicious. Breakfast was just as good, with homemade jams, quality products, and generous portions. Thanks for such simple, authentic, generous happiness. I highly recommend this inn, and the owners are truly lovely and attentive.
