The lovely surroundings don’t make up for the service. The rooms were cold, there was no Wi-Fi, and outside breakfast hours there wasn’t even access to coffee or a bar. The food was especially bad, and I can’t really describe how awful it was. I wouldn’t trust the five-star reviews. It’s shameful service, and one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed in.

There were ants everywhere, no hot water, and the radiators didn’t work. The food seemed to be supermarket food bought the week before and frozen at best, or possibly made badly on purpose at worst. Maybe the food could be forgiven if anything else here worked well, but it didn’t. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.

A calm place to stay, especially when it’s not busy, with a friendly team who were helpful. Laundry and drying were free, and the internet worked well in the lobby. It’s a relaxing, scenic spot, though not close to the center. Good value, and useful as a base for heading along the Brittany coast by bus or car.

The room had no hot water, and they didn’t fix it while we were there. One of the rooms was full of ants, too. The food was probably the worst I’ve ever had, so I ended up ordering takeout several times. Staying and eating here felt like an insult to us and to France.
