Château de Saint Chamarand

The birthday weekend was memorable, especially the murder mystery party that got everything started in a friendly way. Marjolaine and Bruno welcomed us and made use of all the rooms, the great hall, and the vaulted cellar. The place has an old-world feel that really takes you back. It was winter, so bring warm clothes: the castle is kept at a temperature "like in the old days." Pellet stoves and hot water bottles at bedtime kept us comfortable. We had a wonderful time and will probably return.

We rented both cottages for a group of 16, and they connect through the large living room. It’s a great spot for enjoying sunshine and nature in a typical Lot village, with lovely locals. We had a really nice weekend at the Chateau de St-Chamarand. I recommend it :)

We had a fantastic New Year’s Eve with friends and our children. The rooms are lovely, and Marjolaine and Bruno made us feel very welcome. We’d be happy to come back.

The breakfasts were a delicious, generous feast, and the children had a great time in the Roman baths, even though the water was chilly. We stayed at the Château de Saint-Chamarand with our three children, who quickly got into the medieval atmosphere and played little knights from start to finish. The shared lounge was especially useful for our family of five, with comics, books, and games for every age. The rooms stayed pleasantly cool despite the heat outside. It’s a charming place with plenty of comfort and a genuinely warm welcome. An unforgettable stay that we’d wholeheartedly recommend.
