The room itself is nice, renovated, and modern, and the restaurant food is good. But the shower is really old, and the water swings between burning hot and cold. There are no curtains or hair dryer, the towels are old, and the WiFi doesn’t work. It’s overpriced for what you get.

The restaurant food was a real surprise. I honestly had one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten, and I’ll definitely come back. It’s a perfect stopover hotel, though the rooms are basic and really just for sleeping. We wanted a family room, so I suggest calling them about that. The hotel doesn’t open until 5 pm, but arriving early is fine since there are lovely bars a short walk away. Totally recommend it.

A handy place to stop with dogs. We had a good evening meal at the restaurant, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The waiters were brilliant and the service was excellent from beginning to end. We had a fantastic meal in the cutest little restaurant. Check the checkout time if you’re hoping to leave early.
