Chateau Croix De Labrie

A peaceful spot to slow down and recharge. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated, and the breakfast was very satisfying. We didn’t get to meet the owners, but hopefully we will next time. Be sure to try their marvellous wine. Saint Emilion is a bit of a drive, so you’ll need a car to get into town.

So quiet here, a lovely place to unwind after the madness of the metropolis. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, fruit, and candles. Wine, service, cleanliness, facilities, all great. My only regret is booking just 3 nights. Highly recommended 🍷

The room was comfortable and nicely redecorated, with a shared kitchen used by another room too. Our window looked out over the parking area. Pay close attention to the price: the booking drew attention to a reduced rate, but the payment didn’t go through at that price and we were charged the full amount. That didn’t feel very fair.

Pierre and Axelle, along with their daughter Camille, are excellent hosts and clearly put a lot of passion and hard work into the wines from this small property. The quality keeps getting better, and I think the label will become better known in a few years. Their wines are very reasonably priced now, though I expect prices to rise as the quality continues to improve.
