We had a wonderful time. The staff were cheerful, helpful and so friendly, with a personal touch. I'd come back in an instant. The beach is perfectly close, and the sea was lovely and warm for swimming. There are so many cycling routes that we'd need another month to explore them all. Somehow you even arranged beautiful weather. And those pizzas are to die for!

The welcome from the moment we arrived was better than anything we've had before in more than 16 years camping in France in our motorhome. Every facility was spotless, the reception and bar area felt relaxing, and the pool was a lovely place to unwind. It's a short walk to the beach for amazing sunsets. If you're after a full camping experience on île d'Oleron, this is the campsite to choose, Camping Les Seulières - Saint-Denis-D'Oléron. The team running it are friendly and helpful.

We stumbled across Les Seulieres during our holiday on Ile d’Oleron and had a wonderful stay. The pitches are roomy, the staff are very friendly, and the facilities were spotless and well looked after. There was a peaceful pool area, table tennis, and a bar and restaurant with fantastic food. We could go on. Thanks so much, we'd highly recommend it for a memorable holiday.

The beach nearby stretches for miles around the bay, with nice sand and occasional stony patches. It's the Atlantic, so the water is chilly. There are lots of access paths from the road, some easy and some difficult because the sand gets deep. Above the high-tide line it looked untidy, with no sign of grooming. The campsite's road sign says two stars, while the website claims four, which seems inaccurate. At €24 per pitch, the shared toilets have no seats, mirrors, paper or dispensers in any stall, and no antibacterial supplies. Mosquitoes seem to be complimentary, I guess. Two stars is generous. There are signs of improvements underway, but progress is slow. The toilets were very clean and the showers great, though bring your own toilet paper.

We keep coming back because the team are so friendly and helpful, and everything is very clean. Camping among the trees is a treat when the weather gets a bit warm. Les Huttes beach is only a short walk away, and the island's cycle network starts practically outside the entrance.
