Camping Les Ulezes

Sylvain and Marion made us feel right at home, they're warm, enthusiastic, professional and always happy to help. The pitches were level and grassy, with hedges between them, and the facilities were excellent, from the pool and washing machine to the toilets, bar and restaurant. We'll definitely be back. Mary and Chris, or “Merry Christmas” as Marion called us.

The riverside walk into the village was lovely, and my dog was happy to stop for a swim. She also appreciated the hedges between the pitches, since she's very nervous. The family running the site were delightful, and I felt welcome straight away. Everything was spotless and the place had a really happy feel. I've stayed at more than 150 sites in France, and this is one of my favourites. I was sorry to leave and hope I can come back someday.

We spent three days here and loved every bit of it. The river path right beside the campsite was a lovely way to explore: the town is about 1.3 km in one direction, with shops, and a nice swimming lake is 2 km the other way. We walked both routes and really enjoyed the nature. There was a great atmosphere at the summer dinners and concerts. They were in French, so we didn't catch many of the words, but people sang along and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. We joined in too. There are daily summer events, plus an activity room, laundry room and lots of games by the pool. Our pitch and the pool were both very nice, and the sanitation facilities were cleaned regularly. Most of all, the owners and staff were lovely. We felt welcome as soon as we pulled up at reception. We'd happily visit again if we're in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

We were there in mid-September when it was quiet, so we could pick any available pitch. They were all a good size, and ours easily fit our 7.3m caravan. Each one has electricity and water. Some pitches have their own toilet and shower, and the small shared blocks were always clean. There's also a little pool and snack bar, and getting onto the site was easy. Marion and Sylvain gave us a lovely welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place.
