The owners spoke perfect English, so my embarrassing attempts to get by in French didn't last long, though it was polite to try. The new amenity block was spotless and warm, which was especially welcome in February. We only spent one night here on our way to the Alps, but it works well as a stopover and seems like a lovely place to stay longer in the warmer months. I'd recommend a visit.

We stayed for two nights on our way north and would happily return. It’s a quiet, lovely little site at a very reasonable price. Our touring caravan had a large pitch with electric and water, and the motorway is close by. Toilets and showers are new and spotless. There’s a small river beside the site, and the village restaurants and shops are an easy walk. I’ve read some poor reviews, but they must have been for a different site.

It wouldn’t take much to improve things: sink plugs in the washrooms, paper in the toilets, and hooks and little racks in the showers for clothes, soap, and shampoo. Those are all inexpensive additions. The showers were reasonably clean and had plenty of hot water. The location is reasonable, but the site felt poorly managed.

This place being open all year is its only plus. When most other sites are closed, RVs gather here. At night there’s no lighting, the sanitary facilities are filthy, and the paths and driveways have huge holes. Dishwashing is done with cold water in the same area where people use the bathroom. I won’t come back.

By a small river, this is a cosy, very nice campsite. The amenities are new and very clean.
