You're right by a ski slope that takes you to the station base, and the beds were okay. Beyond that, I found it overpriced. The pool is more like a kids' puddle, with little room to store clothes. Some of the finishes are poor, our shower handle was broken, and the water was cold half the time. There aren't many cooking utensils, so bring what you need. The sauna beside the pool costs €5 per person for 30 minutes, which is too much. Bring snow chains just in case, and avoid a low car if you don't want to scrape the underside in the narrow parking aisles. It doesn't make me want to spend more money here.

The apartments are spacious and very close to the ski resort. We had trouble on arrival because the phone number on the Booking.com reservation voucher apparently belonged to another resort. We called it several times that day, then went to other apartments in the area because we thought we wouldn't be able to check in. We eventually moved into the Residence Odalys the next day. The receptionist said Booking.com had been told about the wrong number and the problem back in summer 2018.

The chalets are right on the slopes. From the ones farther down the hill, you can reach the piste by a blue run, or get to the bottom by an easy green run, though there's a short walk from there to the lifts. The chalets have ski-to-door access from a blue run. Ours had four halogen rings, a fridge, a microwave with grill, and a dishwasher. Upstairs were two single beds and a shower room without a toilet. Downstairs had a double bedroom, bathroom, separate toilet and lounge diner. There's a TV in the main room, but the free French channels don't include English, so bring films on USB. The shops in Devoluy are poor, so stock up in grenoble if you're self-catering. The chalet had what we needed for a short stay, but maintenance let it down: ours had a broken bed, a radiator loose on the wall, and no key for the ski locker. The pool is small, cold and crowded, and the beds aren't very comfortable, with one small pillow per person. WiFi is only available at reception, where all the teenagers seem to gather. We went at the end of the season and could get 4G on my phone once most skiers had left. It's a good resort, probably better earlier in the season or if they sort out the maintenance problems.

The chalet apartment was nice, but don't expect the basics for washing or cooking to be provided. We tried to leave some dishwasher tablets behind, but they made us throw those out along with everything else. The local shops don't sell things in small quantities.
