Sylvie’s advice helped us discover the beautiful Bauges mountains, and she gave us such a warm welcome. La Grange is full of charm while still being practical and perfectly equipped. We had a really pleasant stay, and the price felt excellent for what we got. We’d gladly recommend it.

We only stayed two nights in July and wished we could have made it longer. Sylvie and her family were so welcoming. The chalet has a lovely feel, and the bedroom, bathroom, and private upstairs space had everything we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with local products, and we got useful hiking tips for the area too.

I found the area great for being outdoors, whether hiking or mountain biking, and there are two nearby lakes by Annecy and Aix-le-Bains to visit. I also came across chocolatiers, farm shops selling their own products, and flea markets. La Grange was the penultimate stop on my France tour, after almost 4,000 kilometers and countless places to stay, and it still exceeded my expectations. Sylvie and Pierre were friendly, helpful, funny, and down-to-earth. I still smile thinking of them, especially the trust they showed me from the very first day. Leaving was hard.

We came away having discovered a truly beautiful region in the Bauges mountains, and La Grange is ideally placed for enjoying it. Sylvie welcomed us warmly and kindly even though we arrived late. The rooms are lovely, and the price is very reasonable for a longer stay. A good choice if you enjoy peace and quiet along with good company.

The view from this guesthouse in the Bauges is absolutely magnificent. Pierre and Sylvie made us feel welcome and helped us find our way around the region, including visits, restaurants, and hiking trails. Thanks to them, we had a pleasant stay.
