We only stopped in for a coffee at this bar where locals go, but we were made to feel very welcome. A retired English teacher got chatting with us and was keen to practice.

A friendly little old hotel and bar. Just be aware that check-in is only available at certain times.

The owner gives you such a warm welcome, with plenty of kindness and humor. She also puts real care and generosity into breakfast, a lovely way to begin the day. It’s a modest place with good value for money, set near the village’s main square. The beds are comfortable, and while some rooms have been renovated, work is still underway on others. There’s also a rather unusual staircase leading up to the rooms.

We stayed overnight as two adults with two children and had a very warm welcome. The room was comfortable and pleasant, with a traditional feel, and the hotel was quiet. You can get a drink there too. Breakfast was excellent.
