The pool looks out over a wide meadow, and the old stone buildings frame a lovely courtyard with outdoor dining. We spent three days at Bel Estiu with another couple, and it was such a comfortable, private place to unwind. Emile was a wonderful host and made us lovely breakfasts. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings, comfortable beds, plenty of storage, and instant hot water. After 50 years of traveling in many parts of the world, I can say this was one of the loveliest settings I've stayed in.

The house has been restored with real care. Each room has its own character, and you can feel the thought and affection that went into making it welcoming. Bel Estiu is in peaceful countryside, with a calm, picturesque feel that made it easy to get away from the daily rush. It's one of the most charming and beautiful places we've stayed, and the hospitality was warm too.

We had a wonderful five nights here, and the nights were so quiet. Breakfast changed a little each morning, and the animals were very kind. The garden and pool were relaxing, and our host was lovely. Thank you, Emilie, for such a nice stay!

We came to slow down and enjoy the French countryside, and this was just the place for it. The hosts greeted us so graciously, and we had a delicious breakfast every day. Such a beautiful spot, an absolute gem. Highly recommend!

I was so lucky to find this dream B&B in the Dordogne. The weather could have been better, but everything else made for a beautiful stay: tasteful decor, a pool, a friendly dog, a few cats, chickens, and delicious breakfasts from a perfect host. If it were only a few hours' drive from home, I'd come every other weekend. Thank you, Emilie!
