The view from both rooms was breathtaking, and we felt comfortable with the charming, attentive owners, who were very pleasant. The family room was practical and had what you'd expect from a hotel room, though the bedding was showing its age. We enjoyed the well-kept pool in the heat. Breakfast was basic and could use more variety. A good place to stay.

We enjoyed the high-quality food, and the setting made for a relaxing stay. There are lovely walks nearby, with few roads, so it works well for a discovery or rest break in this very touristy area. The room had a pleasant view, and we got a friendly welcome. The decor is classic, but the hotel was very clean and well maintained. In hot weather, the small pool is a welcome extra. Breakfast was a weak point. It was at the end of lockdown, and they'd replaced the all-you-can-eat buffet with plated service to adapt, which felt a bit restrictive to me for the same price, though coffee was unlimited. I haven't tried the rooms that don't overlook the park. Enjoy your visit.
