The garden is lovely, and the apartment has plenty of space and two full bathrooms. But I wouldn’t stay here again. It was quite musty when we arrived, and the cross street and nearby nightclub or pub made it noisy, with music going until the early hours. In summer, sleeping with the window open is torture. There are no proper pillows, just flat cushions that the owner calls pillows. The refrigerator leaks onto the floor, and the dishwasher doesn’t release its tablet on a normal cycle, so both should be replaced. Neither bathtub has a shower curtain or screen, and in one bathroom it’s hard to get the shower temperature right because very little cold water comes out.

The apartment is comfortable and very nice, with a beautiful view over the Chantaco golf course. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you need. A couple of things were missing for me: we had to top up the toilet paper ourselves, and there was no soap or shampoo for the shower. Still, it’s a good place to spend a few days.

Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the mattresses were really comfortable, though the pillows could be better. The apartment is spacious and well located, with 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen that’s fully equipped. There wasn’t even enough soap to wash our hands. It also had a strong musty smell, but for a two-day stay it wasn’t a big deal.

We stayed in a comfortable apartment with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. It had what we needed for a few days. The house is split into several separate apartments, and two of them are reached by stairs at the back. It’s on the outskirts of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the Chantaci area, but the center is close by car or a pleasant half-hour walk. My only complaint is that the photos gave the impression we could use the garden, but we couldn’t. Otherwise, it was excellent.

A clean, roomy apartment with a good layout. In this heat, though, air conditioning is the one thing I missed.
