Bizipoz Hotel

The hotel is in a cozy city with more soul than Biarritz, and there’s a wonderful beach a 3 minute walk away. It’s also close to the train station. The rooms are modern, chic, and very well designed, the location is excellent, and reception gave me great help. Breakfast was very good too. I had some trouble with the cleaning staff: when I asked them to come back in 5 minutes, they never returned, though language seemed to be the hurdle. The room’s coffee machine leaked, and the disposal bins were too small for any litter. Other than that, I had a very good stay. The TV has both YouTube and Netflix. See you soon.

The reception team made this stay especially good. All three people we met were friendly and helpful, and Fanny went above and beyond when an external delivery failed to arrive and we needed help sorting it out. She was completely professional, a real credit to the Bizipol. It’s a great hotel with everything you’d want for a relaxed stay in SJdL.

Xabi was fabulous when he checked us in and out. I work in hospitality and was impressed by the care he took, even remembering our names. The new hotel is ideally placed above the harbor and Old Town, with restaurants, shops, the beach, and attractions all within walking distance. Our room was spacious and looked out over the harbor. It was a nice touch to have still and sparkling water added each day after cleaning. There’s a wonderful wine bar next door and plenty of restaurant options. The gym is small but adequate, and includes a sauna. A very pleasant stay.

We’ll be back. The village centre location was wonderful, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast and friendly service were great.
