Just hours before I arrived, the hotel emailed to say there was a water problem and offered either an apartment or a refund. I accepted the apartment, but the access code wouldn’t open the door. I had to walk to another hotel in the group to get the keys, and that only happened at almost 23:00h. The apartment itself was comfortable and clean, but not knowing where I’d sleep and then being unable to get in until almost 23:00h made for a terrible experience.

We were there for three nights in early April. The hotel is near Commerce Metro Station on Line 8, and we had a room on the 3rd floor. There was no elevator, so we had to use the stairs. The room was clean and just about big enough for a couple, with adequate heating that we could adjust. There was no kettle, but the owner kindly provided hot water from the restaurant downstairs. The bathroom had hot water, soap, shampoo and towels. Room service came daily and changed the towels each day too. The property has been painted very recently, though the previous images show very dark rooms.

A simple but very good hotel, close to the metro and around a 25 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a bed and TV, and the bathroom was good too.
