We chose the Campanile for a quick shopping trip, even though we usually camp in the area for a few nights. We were visiting from Spain and stayed just one night, but I’d happily come back for another short break like this. The price was low, and the stay turned out better than we expected. The building is modern, with grassy areas around it, and the location is peaceful. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with good furniture and amenities, and the shower was really nice. Everything was very clean and to a high standard. The friendly, helpful receptionist made us feel welcome. No complaints at all. It had what we needed without unnecessary extras.

The beach is close by, and the receptionist had plenty of useful suggestions for places to eat and things to see in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. We were warmly welcomed, and our room was spotless, smelled fresh, and had a spacious, well-kept shower. At first the hotel looked basic, but we enjoyed our stay more than we expected. We had breakfast the next morning; it was OK. I’d recommend it to people visiting Saint-Jean-de-Luz or just stopping there on the way through.
