We used to visit as a family every year because the food is wonderful, but we stopped coming when the wait to be served got so long. We gave it another try this year and Numidia looked after us brilliantly. Thanks to her, we’ll be back.

For a dinner costing 70 euros per person for three courses, I expected better food and service from a four-star hotel restaurant. I was with my boyfriend on Saturday 19 Août 2023, and the service was extremely poor, with some staff showing little courtesy. We first sat on the terrace for its nice view, but because of the heatwave I asked the hostess, a woman with tattoos on her arms, if we could have drinks there and then move inside to eat. She rudely told us to go to the bar if we wanted drinks. Once inside, we waited 35 minutes for a bottle of water in the heat and 1 hour 40 minutes for the main course. My 14 euro margarita was badly measured by the barman. The main course was good, though the truite I ordered had no taste, and there was no salt or pepper on the table. When we complained to the hotel about the poor service, the restaurant staff offered a tisane as compensation. I wouldn’t recommend dinner here. Better to enjoy a drink for the view, since that’s what you’re paying for, not the food or service.
