The kitchen had what I needed, and having a Lidl just around the corner made it handy for pilgrims watching their budget. I stayed in a four-bed dorm; there was enough room for the beds and I didn't notice any problems with the property. I wasn't charged anything beyond what I'd paid through booking.com. Happy with my stay.

They'd confirmed a late check-in, but on the day I was due to arrive they suddenly said it depended on me paying €150 for a private transfer. They wouldn't stick to what we'd agreed, and I was left without anywhere to stay at the last minute. A terrible experience, with an arrogant, abusive manner and no professionalism. I'd strongly recommend avoiding this place; there are plenty of more honest options nearby.

The owner offered to pick us up from the train station when we arrived in the middle of a heatwave, which was very kind. The place was clean and reasonably well kept, and we cooked dinner in the kitchen. We had a very good stay. The only possible downside was some road noise early in the night if the windows were open.

A pizzeria right across the street made it easy to get dinner, and we got a friendly welcome when we arrived. Our double room was spacious and clean, with two windows, on the first floor. The bathroom was clean and pleasant too. We didn't use the kitchen. Check-out was by 8 in the morning. For the price, I'd definitely recommend it, and it was a good start to our Camino.

It's an old place, but it has a lot of charm, and everyone we met was warm and friendly. Lydie and Christophe helped us from the start, sending tips on WhatsApp for getting into the building and our room. We rented a huge private room, and the key was really nice too. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we didn't eat there because we left very early. A really nice experience.
