L'Orée du Lac

The breakfasts were delicious, and the garden was so peaceful. We also enjoyed the lovely pool, with the lake nearby and the bike path just steps away. We stayed three nights in the upstairs Marmotte room. Everything was perfect, from the ample storage to the superb bathroom. Isabelle and Marc made us feel like friends. Thank you, we'd happily come back!

The breakfasts were TOP, generous and varied, and we had a superb week. The room was very clean, the location quiet, and the welcome really warm. I do have one small thought: a television might have been nice for evenings, though spending that time unwinding around the pool helped us clear our heads. About the comments on the pool, I completely understand the owners' responsibility in the face of danger. We'll remember our stay at L'Orée du lac and the region very fondly. Superb vacation!

The breakfasts kept us full for the whole day! Isabelle was lovely and attentive, and we were there with our 8-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son, so she does accept young children, despite what's said below. We were amazed by the region, which we didn't know before, and Isabelle's gîte made us like it even more. It's pretty, peaceful, clean, and has a perfect view. We had a superb stay in August 2021. We'll be back, thank you again!
