Breakfast was good, with orange juice, fresh bread, butter, jam, pastries, yogurts and fresh fruit. The coffee was excellent too. Our room was warm and the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. It was a quirky but comfortable stay, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room is under the roof, though, so the sloping ceiling was a bit awkward for my partner, who is 6'1". The local pub and restaurant were closed, so we made do with snacks from a supermarket about a 10-minute drive away.

We arrived late on Monday after more than 30 minutes driving around in the dark, trying to follow the sat nav. There were no signs, and even the locals seemed unsure where the place was. Once we got there, finding a meal locally or in the surrounding area was impossible. The only option was a takeaway pizza stand in a car park, which I'd never seen before. You pick a pizza, pay, and about four minutes later a boxed pizza drops through a slot at the bottom.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the surroundings are superb. We found the cottages very pleasant, with a lovely room and a really friendly welcome from the hosts.

The grapes served at breakfast stayed in the same spot for all four days, and the breakfast overall was meager and a disaster. I had a very bad experience here. A roof beam ran across the room at 165 cm, and there was no Wi-Fi in the room. When I complained, the landlord reacted aggressively and told me to leave immediately. I agreed, but he still refused to refund the remaining four days, at 85 euros per day. I can't understand the previous reviews, and I can't recommend this place at all.

I stayed overnight for work and had no complaints about the service. The room was spotless, and the welcome was very friendly. After a hot day, the pool was a nice extra.
