Gîtes Au Chant des Marmites

Pierre was so attentive and helpful during our stay, and even lent us his personal car. The house is charming and full of history, with restaurants and stores within walking distance. From booking and communication with Pierre through to our time there, the whole experience was very positive. Highly recommend 👌

The food was fantastic, and sharing Pierre's home while enjoying the meals he prepared made the stay a real experience. Pierre was a fabulous host, and the location is great. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back.

Pierre went out of his way to make our stay lovely, including sharing helpful information about the town and local transportation. The cabin was cozy and enjoyable, right in the heart of St. Lary-Soulan. Restaurants, shops, and ski lifts are all just a few minutes' walk away. We'd definitely stay again!

The location made everything easy, with bakeries, restaurants, and the lift up the mountain only a short walk away. Our room at Au Chant Des Marmites was just as described, with a private bathroom and a balcony where we could sit outside and look at the mountains. Pierre was gracious and tremendously accommodating, corresponding with me before we arrived and regularly offering suggestions. He also made breakfast each morning using regional products, which introduced us to local flavors. We stayed four nights in St Lary in July 2024 for the Tour De France stage and some local hiking, and the whole experience was outstanding. Its reputation as the best accommodation option in St Lary is well deserved. Thank you, Pierre.
