After our flight was canceled because of the strikes in France, we asked to move our booking 48 hours before the start date. The new dates weren't available, so we requested a free cancellation. The place refused, saying its cancellation rules were strict, and charged us the full amount even though we never stayed. It was the only place that didn't seem to understand the situation.

The restaurant was really good, and the owners were very friendly. The place itself is beautiful and pleasant, a little way outside the city, so it's quiet.

Really great.

We weren't told that a party in the garden would go on until 2 a.m., which was a major drawback. The grounds also felt neglected, and the restaurant was permanently closed. Our first room wasn't pleasant, with an extremely hard bed and unfinished renovations. The hostess seemed overwhelmed but was trying to help, and she eventually found us a very nice room with a comfortable bed.

The place is very peaceful despite being close to the road, and breakfast was fairly generous. José gave us a warm welcome, and the rooms were beautiful with really comfortable beds. We had a wonderful stay and will come back!
