La Périgourdine Chambre d'Hôtes et Gîte

The view from this lovely spot is really pretty, and it's only a few kilometers from both the village of St. Laurent and Montpon. The cottage itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and laid out just right. The owner welcomed us warmly and explained everything clearly and in detail. A perfect place to unwind or celebrate.

We were there for friends' wedding and absolutely loved the gîte. It's an extraordinary place, with bedrooms that each have their own bathroom, proper walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. The beds are top-notch, too. The old farmhouse has been renovated beautifully, keeping the wood, stone, and brick while adding the modern comforts you want. Every room had all the essentials and then some. The huge kitchen is fully equipped, can handle whatever you want to cook, and seats 18. I asked because it would be great for future get-togethers with friends. Outside, there's a big pool and a terrace set up for everyone to relax in peace. Inside, the living room has a huge table, billiards (we didn't get around to playing, haha), a wood-burning stove, and a magnificent old-fashioned fireplace that's 2 meters long and high. Everything's thought through so the whole group can have a wonderful time. We're lucky to have such great friends!

The owner even let me arrive early, which was much appreciated. We booked this lovely place for a get-together with friends, and it was beautifully decorated and welcoming. The terrace was great for drinks or dinner, and there was a pool and pétanque court too. Really, everything was perfect. Thanks so much, I'd highly recommend it!

The enclosed garden was so handy for the kids, with lots of games and a lovely pool. The owner kindly opened it for us at the beginning of May. Inside, it's a large house renovated with great taste, with high ceilings and a roomy, practical kitchen. There was everything we needed for 15 people. Superb for a holiday or weekend with several families. We'd happily come back, and highly recommend it. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
