We only popped in for morning coffee as breakfast service was ending, even though the hotel isn't usually open to non-residents in the morning. They welcomed us, served coffee, and even offered us the leftover croissants from breakfast for free. The decor and gardens we saw were delightful, and based on this visit I'd feel confident about the bedrooms too. It's close to all the attractions but on a calm, quiet pedestrianised street, so it seems well worth considering for a stay in St Martin.

A stylish, well-kept hotel in a convenient spot for the town's restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the stay was very pleasant. The bed felt a bit too firm for me, though, and while it was quiet overall, I could hear heavy-footed guests stomping around in the room above. The buffet breakfast was good quality, with French pastries, bread, cheeses, meats, fruit, and preserves.

Being near the centre was useful if that’s what you’re after, but the room was cramped and uncomfortably hot. Parking is five minutes away and costs 15 euros per day. We only booked because our Airbnb cancelled at the last minute and it was one of the few places with a room. We were already stressed after a long day with our toddler, and reception didn’t give us a particularly friendly welcome.

We came three times in two days because we enjoyed the food and drinks so much. On our last visit, my partner was admiring his pizza when he spilled it all over himself. Nello was wonderful and helped him clean up. I’d recommend this place without hesitation.

Clean, pleasant, and friendly. The seagulls can wake you early in the morning, so that depends on whether you mind an early start.
