Domaine de Puychêne

The kids loved the pool, and once we managed to get them out, they had a great time at the area's attractions, especially the medieval festival at the Abbaye de Fontfroide. The ancient trees shade a play area with little soccer goals, and the lush gardens surround private terraces with large enough BBQs. Inside, the apartments are spacious and very well equipped. We came back for a second year to see Véronique and Philippe, who are the warmest hosts you could hope for. V&P were approachable and charming with the children, and created a friendly place where guests could connect while still having privacy whenever they wanted. We adore Puychene and these wonderful hosts. Can't recommend them enough!

We had a lovely flat and garden at Domaine de Puychêne, and enjoyed plenty of sightseeing. The atmosphere across the domaine was especially good for the children. Véronique et Philippe were wonderful hosts. Many thanks!

We felt right at home thanks to Veronique and Philippe, who shared their deep knowledge of the region, including places to visit, restaurants, and local wines. The accommodation was very comfortable, surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had an excellent holiday at Domaine de Puychene and really hope to come back.

The garden was beautiful, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The place was lovely, even better than the online pictures. Philippe was a fantastic host, with recommendations drawn from his thorough knowledge of the area. He also helped reserve restaurants and shared maps and contact details, which saved us time and made the visit really memorable.
