The Originals City, Hôtel Anaïade, Saint-Nazaire-Pornichet

We were visiting friends nearby and stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and clean, with a bright, modern bathroom, comfortable beds, and a good TV. The air conditioning worked well, and the windows had mechanical shutters that made the room completely dark. Staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were convenient. The hotel met our expectations and we were very satisfied. Its setting may not suit everyone. It’s beside the highway in an industrial area, and without a car there isn’t much to do nearby. The restaurant next door was closed, and there was nowhere else close by. That was fine for us since we weren’t there to sightsee, but anyone wanting to walk around a lively tourist area may prefer somewhere else.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. The issue was the Wi-Fi: the hotel said it had it, but my phone couldn’t detect any network.

A small, fairly new hotel that’s good value for money. It’s clean and has what you normally need for a night’s sleep, though don’t expect a high standard. The nearby highway makes it not completely quiet, but it’s easy to reach.

The rooms are spacious, and it’s quiet. Good location and parking, too.
