The food was fabulous, and the dining room had a nice atmosphere. But our room faced the square, and with no air conditioning we had to leave the windows open. We could hear people at the taverns until 1:30, so it was very noisy.

The staff at the bar, restaurant, and reception were so friendly and genuinely caring. They seemed to really enjoy hosting, which you don't come across every day. We ate well too, with delicious food at both dinner and breakfast. The hotel is right in the city center, on a charming, lively but still quiet square, and right by the St Jaques de Compostelle trail. Having a bar and restaurant on site was a real plus during our hiking trip. The facilities felt freshly renovated and comfortable while keeping their historic style. We had a lovely stay.

It's a small, nice hotel with a good breakfast and a delicious dinner. The view is amazing too. I'd go for a room at the back, where the sunsets at the end of the day are quite astonishing.

For a place that's supposed to be three stars, the rooms are shabby and the bathroom is dumpy. Definitely overpriced.

The staff handled it well when we couldn't speak French, and the rooms and restaurant were great.
