les chambres de l'escotais

The rooms are brand new, and the traditional cooking is excellent. You can really taste the 25 years of experience behind the stove. We chose this place for its location, but the host’s warmth and kindness are what will bring us back. Sadly, we only had two days here. A fantastic experience, and a magnificent conversion of the former inn into a bed and breakfast.

The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the owner shared lots of useful information about the region. Her set menu was delicious and high quality, served in a truly unique setting, and the local wines she offered were excellent. We received such a warm welcome. We highly recommend staying here, and thank you again for your hospitality.

The owner is really friendly, and the rooms are quiet. The food is very good and served in a beautiful troglodyte cave, which used to be the owner's restaurant. Breakfast was perfect, especially the delicious homemade jams. There are games for children, and the place is very clean, with recent renovations and air conditioning. The bedding is good quality. We highly recommend this B&B.

We were traveling through in our campervan, and the owner kindly let us stay in her parking area for a few nights. Such a thoughtful gesture. She also gave us brochures for cycling routes and told us about the Scenoféerie show in Semblançay. We went and didn’t regret it. Fellow campervan travelers, it’s well worth eating there and staying in the private parking area. The owner welcomed us so warmly, the meal in the cave was perfect, and our room was spotless. Thank you!
