The garden and pool are lovely spots to unwind, and breakfast has everything you need to get going in the morning. This charming B&B has just five rooms, each with its own cozy character. It blends old-world appeal with modern amenities, and I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re nearby.

The newly renovated bathroom was the only real bright spot in my room. The pool looked just as nice as it did in the photos, but the room itself was very hot and smelled musty, the bed felt rickety, and there was what looked like an antique fan on the floor. There was no TV or Wi-Fi either. I’d read mixed comments before arriving, with some people calling the place charming and saying the friendly service and breakfast made up for the limited amenities. That wasn’t my experience. The woman in charge seemed uninterested when I arrived, pointed me to the room, and handed me a key for a flimsy door. I thought it would be impossible to sleep there, so after checking in I cancelled the second night of my booking. Around 4 p.m. she messaged to ask if there had been a mistake. When I reached the property about half an hour later, she told me to collect my luggage and leave because the room had been rebooked. I asked how that could happen after I’d already checked in. She said cancelling meant it went back into the system and she had no control over it. Owners do have control, though, and she could have waited those thirty minutes for me to explain. Instead she reopened the room for reservations even though I’d paid for the first night. I was extremely disappointed and angry about how I was treated, and she offered no compensation after I explained what had happened. I can only assume the positive reviewers didn’t have to deal with the heat in July or August. I wouldn’t recommend this place, even for the breakfast or pool, especially given the way guests are treated.

Our balcony had a spectacular view, and the room was in an interesting area about ten minutes from the old City and the Maeght Foundation. The atmosphere is charming, with a pleasant garden and pool.

Service was top-notch, and everyone had a smile.
