Les Vergers de Saint-Paul

We loved having a room with a terrace and a bath, and the black cat was an extra delight. The welcome was lovely, and staff looked after our room so well. Breakfast tasted fresh, with local products. You can tell the owners put care into the property, and it looked wonderful. The only things I missed were a coffee machine in the room and a little more light there in the late evening.

The rooms are small, and breakfast felt expensive for what you get, though the views at breakfast were lovely. The staff more than made up for both. Fabricio welcomed us, kept rushing around to help guests with a smile, and really made the place shine. Hope to see him again. Sylvie was a big help with taxis on the day they were hard to find.

The lovely pool and charming breakfast area stood out, and the room was clean and lovely too. Everything met our expectations at Les Vergers, where the staff made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and kept being helpful throughout.

We found the 15 minute uphill walk on a road to St Paul de Vence centre easy enough and perfectly safe to do almost daily, though it may not suit children or anyone with mobility issues. The location worked well for us. Parking was available throughout our holiday, and the spaces were big enough, which seems to have been addressed since earlier reviews. The hotel is very small, so it was quiet and relaxing. Our room was small too, but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast has fewer choices than at a large hotel, but we enjoyed everything we tried, especially in the garden. We had a great time at Hotel les Vergers and would likely stay again.
