Les Chambres d'Hôtes du Château Eclosion

The food alone would bring me back. We had a great time at the restaurant, and the team seemed to pick up on what we wanted before we even had to ask. The hotel is beautiful, with so much care and energy visible in the design and in the details of each room. Thank you.

We stayed for several nights and loved the whole castle, from the rooms and breakfast to the gardens and pool. The restaurant was a highlight too: the food and wine made for a really lovely experience, and the staff looked after us so well. Everyone we met was helpful and kind, with very high standards of service. There’s an Intermarché nearby if you want to pick up wine and charcuterie for your room on a night you’re not dining at the restaurant. Remember to book.

We had a lovely picnic in the garden with local food from a nearby shop, as the restaurant was closed while we were there. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, and sweets. The rooms were comfortable, simple, clean, and newly arranged. The Château’s garden and interior feel like works of art, and we really appreciated the care behind them. It’s a beautiful place to stay, and I don’t often write hotel reviews, but I’m already looking forward to coming back and hopefully trying the restaurant next time.

The view from my room was exquisite, and the location suited me perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised to find they offer a taster menu, which you can book through the website. I was lucky enough to try the new menu, with paired wine, and the food and service were better than at some UK Michelin restaurants I’ve visited. Add it to your list.
