That park and lake right beside the Cerise hotel in Dax made for a lovely walk, and the location is great. Our apartment had plenty of space and everything we needed, including a brilliant kitchen that would be especially useful for a longer visit. I’d come back. The pool was closed for the season when we were there, unfortunately. The place looked a bit worn and could use a repaint to brighten it up. I also don’t like a separate toilet with no basin, so I felt I needed to clean the door handles and light switches myself.

The pool was the best part for me. It’s fine for a one-night stop to get some sleep, and the service was okay. I’d call it a fair three-star stay, though the rooms look worn and could use some care. I skipped breakfast, and after seeing it, I’m glad I didn’t pay for it.

The balcony had a table and chairs, and the beds were comfortable. It was a clean, airy little apartment with a good amount of space. I’d stay here again.

Nice pool, and the rooms are clean, handy and cheap. There are two double beds.

The rooms were great for the price, and the staff were lovely.
