Les Insolites du Vercors

We rented a cabin and a gypsy caravan for a weekend with friends, and both turned out surprisingly cozy and comfortable. Everything is practical and thoughtfully laid out, so you can just pack your bags and settle in. Marie-France gave us a warm welcome, and the location and amenities really impressed me. It's a great place to get away from city routines, spend evenings by the fire pit with family or friends, and disconnect. I highly recommend it for a stay in the area.

The wooden pieces of art Marie-France makes are magnificent, and she and her husband welcomed us so warmly and helped us out. The estate has a huge amount of space, so it really feels like getting away from everything. We were just 15 minutes from the Treffort pier, where we hiked the Himalayan footbridge, then finished the day with dinner at the estate. It was perfect, and definitely an experience worth having. I recommend it 100%!

We had a fantastic weekend in a cabin, just my partner and me. The cabins have a rustic feel, with all the modern comforts that make a difference. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the beautiful view over the Vercors landscapes, and nearby walks. Such a warm welcome too 🤗 Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The view of the mountain through the big windows is breathtaking, and you can even enjoy it from bed. We stayed two nights in the deer cabin, which was wonderful, and that's putting it mildly. It's spacious enough for five, with a panoramic terrace for sunbathing or eating, plus a shower, toilet, and wood stove that makes winter easier to forget. Everything you could need is there: coffee maker, raclette machine, oven, fridge, dishes, can and bottle openers, firewood, and even a vacuum cleaner. We felt very well received and had an incredible time. Before leaving, we already knew we'd return, even though it's 100 to 2,000 kilometers round trip from home. We're from Hendaye.
