Ilot Bleu

The toilet was in this condition when we arrived. We were told the stain doesn't come off, and it was extremely yellow. There were spiders and webs too. This isn't what you expect in a bathroom at a beach destination where you're meant to relax. The bed hadn't been made properly either, which was really disappointing for a hotel.

The heated pool was really pleasant, and the staff were welcoming and great. We spent two nights here, and everything was just right. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfast introduced us to a local specialty. We'll come back without hesitation if we're in La Réunion again. One small thought: perhaps one or two more sun loungers by the pool would help, just in case. We didn't ask, though, and maybe they were simply put away to keep the area around the pool clear.

We stayed for 10 days at L’Îlot Bleu in Boucan Canot and were delighted with it. The location is ideal, just 200 meters from Boucan Beach, restaurants, and shops. The pool is quiet and secluded, and the common areas were kept spotless, even in heavy rain. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped with a kitchenette and balcony, which made meals there pleasant. The hotel has been tastefully renovated, with a new pool, modern facilities, and a friendly family feel. Lana, Chloé, and Étienne were so kind, and Yannis, the owner, was always available and attentive. We felt right at home very quickly. We recommend it without hesitation!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, functional, and well equipped. This is a great hotel just steps from beautiful Boucan beach, with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Five-star service. I highly recommend it.
