The room was fine, though not really worth €100 a night. We booked through the hotel’s own website because it promised the best rates. Afterward, the price for our room dropped, but they wouldn’t adjust our rate or offer an upgrade, even though the hotel seemed fairly empty.

We were really pleased with the room and bathroom, both comfortable, and the woman at reception was friendly, helpful, and spoke perfect English. We ended up at Hotel Bonnet at the last minute in early October after failing to find another place, and I’m glad we did. At dinner, the waiter explained the €23 set menu: local ham and cheese to start, then veal. We said we only eat fish, not meat, and expected to look elsewhere, but they specially prepared their fish dish and replaced the starter with dessert. Everything we ate and the wine were amazing for a very reasonable price. It doesn’t seem like the regular menu has vegetarian options. Our waiter was attentive and polite, and the receptionist also came over to help translate anything we needed. Thanks, Hotel Bonnet. We’ll be back.
