Wendy and Chris went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed, and they put on great activities for the kids plus a wine tasting for the adults. Our 4- and 2-year-olds were especially taken with the pirate ship in the play area and loved the pool. We had such a lovely stay at La Grange du Moulin, and can't wait to come back next year.
We found a quiet, private spot just behind the gîtes, with lovely views across the fields. It was great for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The shared garden and outdoor areas were sociable too, giving the children space to play together while the adults relaxed and got to know one another. The wine tasting was another highlight, bringing guests together and giving the holiday a real sense of community. From our arrival, Wendy and Chris made us feel genuinely welcome with their warmth and hospitality. These beautiful French gîtes have a special charm, and our stay was truly memorable.
We loved every minute at La Grange du Moulin, and our two especially enjoyed the teddy bears' picnic Wendy & Chris arranged. There was lots to keep young children busy on site, with plenty of attention to detail in the facilities. It's also well placed for exploring the local area or heading to the coast. Such a lovely place for a family holiday, and we'll definitely visit again.
The Gite was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed, and the area had beautiful scenery. Wendy and Chris were warm and welcoming, and their themed days and activities were fun for children and adults alike. We had a wonderful week at La Grange and would love to return. Highly recommended.
This was our second stay at La Grange du Moulin, and just as enjoyable as the first. The children had plenty to do, from the heated kiddie pool, trampoline and toy filled garden with kiddie bikes to table tennis, clay figurine painting, t-shirt printing and the teddy bear picnic with bouncy castle and tea party. The adults had their own treats too, including the adult pool, hot tub, BBQ areas for a relaxed evening, wine tastings and a vineyard tour. We also appreciated the restaurants in nearby villages, and thank you, Wendy, for watching our little ones so we could have a night off. Everything made for a holiday that was active but still relaxed. Thank you, Wendy and Chris. We'd definitely come back in future years!
