Marc and Sarah made us feel so welcome and shared ideas for exploring the area. Marc’s homemade breakfast was five stars! Our room was beautifully appointed, and Sarah was so personable. She told us stories about life in Saint Remy. We’ll be back!♥️

The rooms are beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches, and the welcome is warm. The property feels magical. Marc makes a lovely breakfast with homemade preserves and bread, and is generous with his local knowledge. Simply perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.

Right near the bustle of St Remy, this beautiful property feels like an oasis. Marc and Sarah were friendly and welcoming, and our large bedroom was tastefully furnished. The outdoor area is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. Marc’s excellent breakfast included homemade bread, yoghurt and preserves.

The place looked much nicer in the pictures. Room 1 really was a former chicken coop, as the description suggests. The other two rooms sit above a patio and can only be reached by a tiny outdoor spiral staircase. We’d guessed room 1 might have been a garage or workshop, but calling it “rustic” is overstating it. We booked two nights, but within minutes in room 1 I was having trouble breathing. My husband noticed a bad smell too. I thought it was mildew, while he thought it was chemicals. We tried calling the owner, but got no answer. After 15-20 minutes we started searching for somewhere else and eventually left. It took two months, and a trip through my bank, to get the owner to agree to refund the second night’s rent. Parking and arrival are also a challenge if you’re driving. You have to park single file along an alley with the other guests, then carry your luggage a few hundred feet over pea gravel. There’s no way to roll a bag down the alley. I’m very surprised by the five-star reviews.

The private feel of the bed and breakfast, fresh breakfast, beautiful setting and kind host made our stay restful and lovely. St. Remy is a beautiful town that encourages you to slow down and enjoy its peaceful pace. We had a wonderful time.
