The next day’s lunch was delicious, and the service was friendly both times, always with a smile. On Friday night, an excellent blues guitarist played while a busy bar full of people enjoyed themselves. We had a very positive stay at the Auberge de Saint Rome. Highly recommend it.

The back view was amazing, and the hotel was great even in such a small town. We had a good room and the food was great. Locals came in with their kids on Friday, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. It felt like being away from the overly touristy places, real France.

The local breweries' craft beers on tap were superb, and the service was quick and charming. It's a beautiful place with a great vibe and energy. Next time we're in France, we'll drive via St Rome de Tarn so we can stop here again.
