Chambres d'Hôtes La Semondière

There’s plenty for children to enjoy here, with farm animals, two tree houses, two zip lines, an indoor pool, and open space to explore and hide. The large gîte on site looked lovely too. Dinner is available there, and I’d expect it to be as good as breakfast. The farmhouse is beautiful and old, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and had its own access to the garden. It was also very comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with much of the food homemade. Madame went out of her way to provide special products for my vegan husband. I’d suggest staying 3-4 days to unwind, though you’ll need to drive to reach a bar, shop, or gas station.

Breakfast was full of homemade products, and the kind hosts gave us such a warm welcome. Sleeping up in the trees was a wonderful experience, and the place was so peaceful. Highly recommended.

We had a very pleasant night in the "Nest in the Oak". The bed was excellent, and the thoughtful little touches were much appreciated. The owners are lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Out in the countryside, the place is really rejuvenating. Breakfast was excellent too, and we highly recommend staying here.

We had such a lovely time with the other guests that the weekend just flew by. We’ll definitely come back for a longer stay. It was our first bed and breakfast experience, and we got a more than warm welcome, great communication, and a superb breakfast. The traditional evening meals were generous and delicious, with almost everything homemade. Thank you, Marie-Céline and Yves, for a wonderful time.
