I really enjoyed dinner the night before, and breakfast was lovely too. The room itself was beautiful, with thoughtful decor and a very comfortable bed. From the balcony you can look out over the river, and the blinds and curtains make it properly dark for sleeping. There’s a coffee machine and a mini fridge as well. I’m an early riser, so I got to see loads of stars in the dark sky. I’d recommend staying here.

The restaurant on the river terrace was nice, and the French breakfast was good. The rooms are all new and nearly perfect, with a stylish look and a really comfortable feel. Ours had a balcony with a river view. It was 90 euros for the room.

We stayed one night in room 1, the smallest one, and found it comfortable with nice decor. It had everything we needed for a short visit. The street-facing view was fine since the street wasn’t very busy and noise didn’t bother us. If I were staying longer, I’d choose one of the rooms looking over the Saône River. The roller shutters are great if you like a completely dark room. I recommend it.

That beef bourguignon was a real treat on such a dreary day. It came hot with tagliatelle and a green salad, and was both tasty and very generous. I’d had a long day, so I only ordered one dish. I was in Saint Jean de Losne for work as a craftsman in mid-December 2025, and booked a room at the last minute. It turned out to be modern, welcoming, comfortable, and roomy, with good amenities. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Bistrot de la Cotinière, where Virginie and Thierry made us feel very welcome. Our hotel room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a tasteful, cozy, modern style, with a view of the Saône River. The terrace overlooking the water was lovely for winding down in the evening and again in the morning. Thanks to Virginie and Thierry for being so kind and hospitable.
