Even with the awful weather in mid-July, we came away with wonderful memories and will definitely return next summer. It’s such a welcoming place, with a superb setting and hosts who make you feel right at home. There’s plenty for the kids to do, from games to the pool and animals. Peaceful, carefree, and full of good vibes!

The owners are incredibly kind, and our children had a great time. We spent a weekend in the heart of nature, relaxing and getting a real change of scenery. If you enjoy nature, this is the place to go. We’ll be back very soon.

We stayed at Balcon des Raspes for two nights, and it really felt like a little paradise. Chipper, the baby goat in his little green harness, will greet you, and maybe Ortance and the two donkeys will brighten your stay too. The owners welcome you with kindness, generosity, and thoughtfulness you won’t find anywhere else. Everything feels calm, beautiful, relaxing, and revitalizing. You have to go, don’t hesitate. Thank you, Maïté and Christian, for such an incredible welcome.

There aren’t any supermarkets nearby for groceries, though there is a small grocery store. In Saint-Rome-du-Tarn, you can rent pedal boats and visit the Baumes waterfall. We had a pleasant stay, and the pool was secure. There’s also a pizza restaurant on site, plus sardine barbecue on Tuesdays. If you found this review helpful, please click the thumbs up.

The homemade pizzas were excellent, and the place had a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The heated pool, football pitch, pétanque court, donkeys, and goat all added to the stay for both kids and adults. A perfect stay at Balcon des Raspes.
