Club Med Les Boucaniers

The food was pretty good, and I really enjoyed the day pass, which cost 121 euros. The hotel felt a bit dated, with few services beyond the bar. We've stayed at other Club Meds with better food and activity schedules. Towels and snorkeling aren't included, so bring your own things.

Ronny, Sandra from excursions, captain Roni, and Margot were especially warm and gave us exceptional hospitality. The staff really made the experience. Thank you! ❤️

The beaches were lovely, the pool was great, and the grounds are beautiful. Just pay attention to the warning about evening sand fleas and take precautions. The cleaning staff were incredible, and everyone was friendly, but I expected better service for $700 a night. The room was okay, though a bit dated and not as nice as I expected. I'd never stayed at an all-inclusive before and am used to cruising, so the service level felt low for the cost. The buffet was available for only limited hours at each of the three meals, with little else to eat outside those times. As Americans, we tend to snack more often than the French, and this is mainly a French resort. There was also a specialty restaurant, but reservations on the app were already gone as soon as the booking window opened. That was disappointing. The stay was fine, but I felt they could have provided a higher level of service for the money.

The staff were awesome and there were lots of activities. The beach restaurant à la carte was great, though I was surprised it closed on Saturdays during the busy season. Around the pool it was always busy and full of kids, with no separate children's pool or area. The buffet restaurant was loud and crowded, with tables packed too close together, so it didn't feel relaxing. The rooms were okay. The setting is lovely, but beach chairs were sometimes hard to find in the shade, there weren't enough umbrellas, and the old loungers were dirty and needed cleaning. With the resort's high price, I expected more and left not fully satisfied.
