The meal was beautiful, especially the pork cooked right in front of me over the fire. The staff, who I believe are family, were welcoming and very friendly. They handled the email booking efficiently, which worked well for me since my French on the phone isn’t great. They also understand gluten-free meals and adapt the menu, something I often struggle to find at other restaurants in France. It’s a tranquil setting, and there’s a lovely shop selling local produce. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it. Five stars!

Dinner and breakfast were both superb, and the staff were friendly as well as efficient. The setting is calm and tranquil, with lovely grounds. Rooms have traditional French furnishings and good fittings.

The steak, cooked in the magnificent fireplace, made for a spectacular dinner. We came upon this lovely manor during a pleasant drive through the French countryside. The host was gracious too.

We’ve been coming to the excellent restaurant for 30 years now. It really is that good!
