We needed a couple of nights near a friend’s place and wanted decent parking. My wife found this apartment, and our friend independently recommended it too, with no connection to the owner. The ground-floor place worked perfectly. It’s central, yet peaceful behind the gates, and Tegan makes everything easy and stress-free. We’ll stay here whenever we’re in the area.

The property is magnificent and right by the Dordogne, such a blissful spot. We loved the stylish accommodation, and the host made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Communication was easy, the recommendations were great, and breakfast was lovely. Sainte Foy La Grande has a great vibe, with Bergerac, Eymet and Duras nearby. We only wish we’d stayed longer.

Maison M was a great base for the Plum Village Buddhist retreat and the Camino trail. We took an easy 30-minute train ride to Saint-Émilion for wine tasting, and explored châteaux near Sainte-Foy, where we found fantastic wines at good prices. The trip from Bordeaux Airport was simple too, about 1.5 hours by train and tram. Back at the property, we loved the design and spent lazy afternoons beside the peaceful pool. Tegan was such a warm, thoughtful host and made us feel at home. We’ll be back!

Our garden apartment was charming, beautifully designed, clean and fresh, and had everything we needed. We slept so well, then woke up to fresh croissants and bread at a gorgeous breakfast. Maison M is a stunning hidden gem. Thanks, Tegan and Christian, we’ll be back!
